Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!!

OMG! That was my first comment after reading the lovely lovely book. Obviously i can't write much about it here as we do not want to spoil anyone. But I can say that it was a very good book, maybe the best one of them all, and it was not too long either (although I thought the epilogue could have been a few pages more).

Anyway, I hope you all read and enjoy this very last of seven magical books!

Harry Hotter and the order of the phoenix

Well I think it was a good movie, but I also wanted some more of it. An extended version where some stuff is added would be nice for the DVD version. :) Tora was on the other hand not so pleased by it, but she read the book like... 2 hours before the movie started so the plotholes would be easier to find for her. The movies starts to get better and better atleast, now if they can hang on to a director for once, it might get even better for the sixth movie.

Now it's not so many days before the seventh book comes out, so I think some members in the guild are going in to isolation, and we hope for people to keep their spoiler to them self :)

Darigan wins the ACII!

The second annual Alatdor cup is now over. This years winners were Darigan Citadel, who came in second last year after being beaten in the finals by Haunted Woods. This year Roo Island takes second place and the newcommers Shenkuu third.

Congratulations to the Darigan team and everyone else who participated!

And remember, it's never to early to consider which team you'll choose for next year! Mystery Island for the Cup!!

Lotr Tourism

Imagen traveling to all "middle earth" places in New Zeeland. Imagen visiting Mordor, Anduin or as the picture shows Edoras. I think it sounds absolutly wounderful, and I would kill to do it. But what makes us associate these places, still, with the film although the sets are long gone?

It's very interesting to red her journal when they visited different places in New Zeeland and it's going to be very exiting to learn her conclusion! Make sure you go to the page and read, it's all very interesting (and has lots of nice pics)

The Children of Húrin

The Children of Húrin, the new Tolkien book (who said being dead stopped anyone ^^). I haven't read it, yet, but I though this was the perfect news for our blog.
Not Only written by The Master but also illustrated by Alan Lee, how could it possibly become any better? As I haven't read it I offer you a review by Johan Garth and one at Tolkien Online.

I also found a very nice FAQ of everything you might want to know about The Children of Húrin at the Tolkien Library.

And lastly; a (easy) competition where you can win a weekend in England, at a place which inspired Tolkien, and signed copies of The Children of Húrin. You can find it here.

New layout!

Yay! Teh blog has a nice new layout! ^_^ If you have any probelms with the layout, as always let me know by commenting!

And as I promised Tora, I will have a new layout up for the guild as well, as soon as I can, probably sometime later this week :)

Blog Layout

Since Tora requested a blogg layout featruring the Ring of Power melting in Mount Doom I have changed around the colours some in preparation for me adding an actual layout. I will proabaly have the 'real' layout ready by the end of the week. Feel free to prod me if you think I'm slacking off, it's most likely true. ;)

ETA: I created another blog so I could mess around with the layout without disturbing you guys. This is what I have so far. Please tell me what you think!

First Post!

Woho! Atlast it is here our blog over stuff that is related to neopets and fantasy! I would say this is still beta, because I don't know exactly what is going to be here, but my thought was that there will be news conserning the fantasy scene, or links to them.

Later hopefully there will be reviews of fantasy books and movies. This I cannot say will happen but I hope that it will be in that way.

Because we have just started this I was hopeing to have some help of our guild members, if you have some suggesstion, or interesting news, that would fit this blog perfect you can always neomail me or write on the guild board.

All I can say now is... MORE TO COME! :)
